At Galloway Walking Holidays we strive to make your holiday planning as stress-free and enjoyable as your vacation itself. We specialise in personalised, professional and flexible walking and trekking holidays in south west Scotland. Our love and appreciation of this special part of Scotland is unrivalled. Galloway is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt parts of Scotland. You could discover three breathtaking National Scenic Areas, the expanse of the Galloway Forest Park, the majesty of the Galloway Hills, a huge, sweeping coastline, big skies and rolling landscapes – all just waiting to be explored.
We have a large menu of daily circular walks with wow-factor scenery and fascinating places to visit. Our walks are mainly self-guided and of different distances for people of all abilities.
To arrange a break, we initially like to discuss your holiday requirements, including B&B / Hotel standard, with you. We then send you an outline walking tour proposal, ideally by e mail, according to the length of your stay. On arrival, we can meet you at your accommodation to go over your break and provide your walking break information pack. You then have the flexibility to enjoy your break, including contact with us by mobile phone as required.

The Galloway Hills
For 2008, we are including more walks in the Galloway Hills and Galloway Forest Park - see our Easy/Moderate 4 day Walks. As the name suggests, Newton Stewart, 'the Gateway to the Galloway Hills' and base for the annual Newton Stewart Walking Festival is an ideal accommodation location for all or part of your break.
