Galloway Holidays
Our business Galloway Holidays has several different sections.
Galloway Cycling Holidays has been operating successfully for several years. We have been arranging cycling holidays for cyclists throughout the world – with customers in 2006 from Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and USA, including a repeat visit from the previous year all the way from California! We are using our cycling holidays experience to develop our business into other leisure activities.
Galloway Touring Holidays will also be launched in 2007 and use a similar concept to the cycling and walking holidays. We offer to arrange car touring breaks throughout the region to many of the places of interest we suggest our cyclists and walkers may wish to visit during their breaks. We can even combine a car touring break with some cycling and walking!
Other Activities
There are various other activities which you might also wish to do in our area, including the already popular golf, sailing, bowling and fishing. Other businesses offer classic car drives, off road vehicle treks, photography holidays, genealogy breaks etc.
With our knowledge of what other activity breaks and services are available we offer to research and arrange them for you, whether for individuals, groups or corporate.
Our Service - What We Offer
As a relatively small business, our strength is that we can offer a personalised service. Our customers seem to like our tailor made service which allows you to arrive on any day of the week and stay as long as you want. We often tweak tour itineraries which are mentioned on our menus to suit our customers’ interests, including options for the preferred number of miles cycled, walked or driven. On arrival, we either take you to, or meet you at, your arranged accommodation to go over your tour, provide your tour information pack and answer any questions. We find that all our customers have different interests to various degrees and when we meet can we can provide the best local knowledge advice.
